Telephone
This telephone commemorates the half-millionth telephone line to be installed in the West London telephone area (Ealing Region). It was presented to the subscriber, Mr George Hogbin in April 1978. Mr Hogbin was a local customer with a disability. For a person with a disability the new keypad was easier to use than the traditional rotary dial. The Model 764 was the first telephone for use on the public network with this feature.
