Telephone, pendant telephone
The Pendant telephone was intended to fit in the knee hole of an office desk or table out of the way. It had a separate dial which was also located under the desk top. Pendant telephones were used mainly by businesses and other office-based organisations, but could also be fitted in lifts and private homes.
