Fair Lemons & Oranges
Lemons and oranges were imported from Spain, Portugal, Bermuda and as far away as China. This young woman is stylishly dressed and her hair is fashionably curled. Evidently trade was brisk. Oranges sold best at theatres, where they could be eaten or hurled at the actors.
