Printed Ephemera — 1925-1939
Easter
Flyer in the form of a trade card advertising the services of Thos. H. de Gruchy, Highstone Garage, New Wanstead, E11. Printed in white, orange & green with a graphic of a car mounting a hill the flyer was produced to encourage car owners to visit the garage and give the car the 'once over' in preparation for Easter and Spring. The reverse of the card is blank.
From the 1920s, many service and repair garages opened in London to serve the needs of the growing number of car owners.
