Notice
The Duke of Wellington died on 14 September 1852 and was honoured with a state funeral. The streets of London were lined with mourners as his funeral cortege passed by on its way to St Paul's Cathedral for the funeral. This notice was issued to guests attending the funeral of the Duke of Wellington on 18 November 1852. Printed in black with a black border on two sides of a sheet, the notice gives instructions for those entering St Paul's Cathedral according to their seat allocation.
