Badge
Gilt-metal badge and ribbon, worn at the London 1948 Olympic Games by John Eton Griffith (1894-1985), a member of the organising committee. The metal badge has the legend 'XIV OLYMPIAD, LONDON 1948', against a design showing the Houses of Parliament . It has a light blue enamelled bar marked 'Official' . The badge was given to the Museum by John Eaton Griffeth's daughter.
