Printed Ephemera — 1922- 11
Central Telegraph Office London
This pamphlet shows the Central Telegraph Office (CTO) and its staff in a series of photographs. The opening page introduces the reader to the controller, Mr John Lee, and his deputy Mr A. W. Edwards. The centre page shows the main gallery of the CTO, which was located on St Martin's-le-Grand in the City of London. The building was badly damaged by fire during World War Two. It eventually closed in 1962 and was demolished in 1967.
