Worshippers gather at the Sai-Hindu centre in Golders Green to celebrate the 22nd Ganesh Festival in September 1973. The ten-day festival in late August to early September is dedicated to the deity Lord Ganesh. The Ganesha idol, in the centre of this shrine, resembles an elephant.
