Electrical fitting
This Bakelite two-pin electric cable connector is one of several domestic items bought at Woolworth's by Walter Boughton. The London stores have always stocked a range of paint and tools. In the mid-20th century as now, many were conveniently located in suburban high streets, and sold to local tradesmen and householders for DIY projects.
