Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 29 made in one of the potteries in South Gaul. The upper zone has scroll decoration with stipuled leaves and arrowheads underneath. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
