Roman — Roman
Torc
Roman neck ring, or torc, of twisted wires made from two different-coloured copper alloys and one iron (now mainly corroded away). When new the colours would have appeared silver-white, yellow and red. The catch is missing although the terminal loops for the catch are present at either end.
Found on the site of the Bank of England, Threadneedle Street, City of London.
