Social History — C. 1979
Badge, lapel badge
The slogan on this badge is a reference to the 1979 general election which brought Margaret Thatcher to power. Badges like this one were worn by opponents of Thatcher's Conservative Party. The Labour Party even produced a badge with the parallel slogan, 'Don't Blame Me I voted Labour'. The slogan was revived after the 2010 general election brought the Conservatives back into government.
