Festival Pleasure Gardens
Leaflet promoting the Festival Pleasure Gardens in Battersea Park, which were created for the Festival of Britain 1951. The Gardens provided leisure and entertainment, with an amusement park, dancing, theatrical performances and concert parties. There were also flower gardens and a riverside walk. Over 8 million people visited the Gardens in the five months that they were open for the Festival.
