A silver denarius coin of the Roman Republic. The coin depicts Roma, the female personification of Rome and Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted under the authority of the moneyer, M. Lucilius Rufus, in Rome, Italy, 100-91 BC.
Obv: Helmeted head of Roma, facing right. Obv inscription: PV. Rev: Rev: Victory, advancing right in a biga (a chariot). Rev inscription: [RVF] M LVCILI.
