Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park Public Open Day Bank Holiday Monday 29 May 2000
This yellow coloured leaflet provides details about Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park Public Open Day on the Bank Holiday on Monday 29 May 2000. The leaflet comprises an A4 sheet of yellow paper folded in half to make a four page A5 leaflet printed in black. Billed as 'A great day out for all the family', it provides information about the open day, a history walk, murder mystery, mini-beast safari, pond dipping and nature walk, treasure hunts and a pet competition.
The interior spread provides details about Tower Hamlet Cemetery Park's new management plan, written by Julie Brownbridge at the Greater London Authority Strategy Directorate. It states that chapter one and chapter two are complete, respectively focusing on a description of the flora, fauna, history and management and on the evaluation of the Cemetery's relative importance, trends and external factors affecting it. The third chapter was in the process of being written about what still remained to be done at the cemetery. The back cover lists dates of forthcoming events organised by the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park.
