Pottery, vessel, beaker
Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dechlette 67, made in one of the potteries of South or Central Gaul. The rim is everted and the upper part of the vessel plain. Grooves border the decoration which consists of hares and plant motifs. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
