Printed Ephemera — 1929
Spring and Summer Fashions
Hitchcock Williams produced this fashion catalogue for the 1929 spring and summer season. It is illustrated with 'frocks' designed, produced and sold by the company based at St Paul's Churchyard.
Hitchcock Williams produced affordable ready-made clothes. Its up-to-date designs, such as the Delainette Dresses on page 1 which had dropped waistlines and were made from sleek materials, were marketed as being both 'useful and smart'.
