Bottle, mineral bottle
Mineral water bottle, natural green glass, very iridescent and pitted; bulbous vessel with rounded basal edge, pointed kick and unpolished mark; neck with crude applied collar; seal stamped 'PIERMONT WATER' around an 8-pointed 'star' rosette. Probably from the German spa at Pyrmont (Piermont), in the Waldeck. Section of body missing. Marked 'A....' (the rest of number is illegible), therefore of old London Museum provenance.
