Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 37, made at Lezoux, Central Gaul, by the potter Servus. Decorated with panel design including festoon containing animal figure. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
