Mr Smith as Guy Fawkes
Uncoloured theatrical souvenir portrait plate printed with an engraving of the actor Mr Smith in the role of Guy Fawkes. Such portraits would have been sold as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home. The sheet is beaded 'Bailey & Cos Theatrical Portraits Price 1d plain'. The engraving is signed 'Marks fect', this probably refers to JL Marks as being the artist/engraver.
