Churchhill: Farewell to greatness
The Daily Telegraph issued this special weekend colour supplement to commemorate the funeral of Winston Churchill. It is entitled 'Churchill: Farewell to greatness' and is made up of a sixteen page supplement including colour photographs of the funeral service in St Paul's Cathedral. The funeral took place on Tuesday 30 January 1965. The back cover shows his final resting place in the country churchyard of Bladon Church next to his father, his mother and his brother close to his birthplace at Blenheim Palace. It carries the words 'And there is today a terrible emptiness in the land'.
