Knickers, exercise knicker
A pair of red exercise knickers. Worn with matching tunic.
These Keep Fit Association exercise clothes, which include a tunic and knickers and a leotard, demonstrate how sportswear has developed and become subject to fashion. The replacement of the tunic by the leotard also symbolised changes in the association's practice and its development of Laban-based movement.
Laban Movement Analysis, which was devised by Rudolf Laban, is a system and language for observing, describing and notating all forms of movement.
