City bomb damage, Upper Thames Street during the Blitz
World War II bomb damage to the District Railway outside No. 1 Upper Thames Street, caused by the German bombing raid on the City of London on the night of 11 october 1940. The crater was caused by a high explosive bomb which fell at 10.55 pm.
