Printed Ephemera — 1973
Who looks after you at Heathrow Airport?
This booklet warns disabled travellers coming to Heathrow, somewhat discouragingly, that 'Because the areas of responsibility are complicated, this leaflet tells you where to look for assistance and how to anticipate problems by warning the airline in advance that you are disabled..ask if the airline makes any charge for special assistance...You may be asked to get your doctor to fill in a form stating the nature of your disability...' Disabled people are advised to read a book on 'London for the Disabled'. The booklet also provides the locations and dimensions of toilet facilities for the disabled at the airport.
