Billhead, invoice
Copper-engraved billhead and handwritten invoice issued by the haberdashery firm of Drury, Gilbert and Drury, located at 53 Bread Street, London. Dated 1787 the invoice refers to the supply of ribbons and satin and other items to the county draper John Thomas & Company located at Hinckley, Leicestershire. Similarly to other county drapers J. Thomas and Company ordered cloth and haberdashery from London wholesalers.
