A Baker
Comic valentine card printed with a caricature portrait of a baker and an eight line comic verse. The image is handcoloured. Popular in the 1850's these skits on tradesmen were often published in series. Comic and cruel valentine's were a popular alternative to sentimental and affectionate cards.
