Victoria Tower
An ornamented letter 'W' from chapter 1 of 'London: a Pilgrimage' by Blanchard Jerrold and Gustave Doré, 1872, showing the Victoria Tower, Houses of Parliament. Named after Queen Victoria, the entrance at the base of the tower is known as the Sovereign's Entrance and is part of a processional route that includes the Royal Stairs. The tower is used to house the Parliamentary Archives.
