A Cake of Soft Soap
Handfinished Valentine's card comprising a sheet of white lace paper embossed with flower and leaf design. The central panel is surrounded by an embossed and lace paper design representing a pair of drawn curtains. Applied to the panel is a cut out cardboard bar of soap pressed with the words 'Honey soap tablet'. Above is handwritten on the panel 'A cake of soft soap'. The inner sheet also has an applied cardboard tablet of soap, painted brown and pressed with the words 'Old Brown Windsor'. Above is handwritten 'A cake of soft soap' and below is a garland of embossed paper flowers and leaves.
