Copper, copper alloy, lock, lock plate
A copper-alloy lock plate. A flattened rectangular plate with six bolt holes and bolts (corroded); catch and socket; two slots: L-shaped, rectangular. Associated with lock hasp MSL87[1837]<678>, lock bolt MSL87[1837]<711>.
Part of a box of gaming pieces; 13 black counters, 10 white counters, 1 fragment of a white counter, and 4 dice. Recovered from a burial at the Roman cemetery, Mansell Street, London E1.
