Glass, vessel, bowl, miniature bowl
A monochrome green glass bowl. Glass poor quality in some places, with swirling 'seams' running through it. Weathered, with some irridescence and pitting on all surfaces. Parts present: complete (rim (slightly outsplayed), body, base with foot-ring). Technical features: cast, facet-cutting. Three rows of interlocking, rather irregular oval facets on body; in upper two rows facets are vertical, in lower row they are horizontal. Two large and two small, almost circular, interlocking facets on underside of base.
Isings form 81 variant.
From B392, the burial of a child in a lead coffin, with other glass items (see <337>), a coin of Hadrian or Antoninus Pius (117-161), and three Venus figurines.
