On the Lagoon
Mounted colour postcard, 'On the Lagoon', Japan-British Exhibition, 1910. From the Great Lake in the Court of Honour at White City ran a series of grass-banked lagoons. From here boats transported visitors on a leisurely ride past the principal exhibition pavilions and gardens.
