Combat in the Death of Christophe, King of Hayti
Handcoloured theatrical souvenir combat plate printed with an engraving of the actors Mr Bradley and Mr Blanchard in the roles of Feroce D'Ame and Count de Bonnefoi from the play The Death of Christophe, King of Hayti. Published March 10th 1821. Such portraits would have been sold plain as theatrical souvenirs for colouring and tinselling at home.
