Part of a decorated samian ware bowl, form Dragendorff 37, with ovolo band, Ovolo 3a, made at Lezoux, Central Gaul, by the potters Cinnamus or Cerialis. Decorated with panel design including male and female figures, and panel with bird figure in festoon with lion figure below. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
