Bottle, chemist's bottle
This tall, clear, straight sided glass bottle is inscribed 'By His Majesty Letters Patent Dr Sibley's Solar Tincture'. There is also a raised impression of a sun within a shield. Dr Sibly claimed that his tincture could restore someone to life after they had died suddenly by 'blows, fits, falls, suffocation, strangulation, drowning, apoplexy, thunder and lighting, assassination' and 'duelling'.
