Brooch
Designed by Sylvia Pankhurst, this silver Holloway brooch incorporates a silver portcullis, representing parliament, with a central, enamel convict's arrow in the suffragette colours of purple, white and green. The brooch was awarded by the Women's Social and Political Union to members who served a period of imprisonment for their militant suffragette activity.
