The released Suffragette prisoners Christabel and Emmeline Pankhurst and Mary Leigh on their way to a breakfast reception, 22nd December 1908. The Suffragette leaders were greeted at the gates of Holloway on their release from prison by a delegation of Suffragettes and transported in a horse drawn carriage procession from north London to a breakfast reception at the Court Hotel. The carriage carrying the leaders was, as can be seen in this image, headed with a banner marked 'To Victory.'
