Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 37, with ovolo band, made at Les Martres-de-Veyre, Central Gaul by the potter Igocatus also known as X-4. Decoration comprises panel design including festoons. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
