Edward Bingham
Printed billhead with handwritten invoice and receipt issued by Edward Bingham located at the Marble Stone & Granite Works, 101 & 103 Fulham Road. The invoice dated 1883 and the receipt dated 1885 refers to the supply by the firm of a monumental headstone or tablet in Portland and York stone for a grave in Brompton Cemetery. The receipt includes an Inland Revenue duty stamp for one penny. The billhead notes that the firm of Edward Bingham supplied a range of goods carved from imported marble and stone including chimney pieces, pestle and mortars, stoves, monuments, tablets, headstones, vases, columns tombs.
