Puppet, hand puppet
This hand puppet of 'Clown' was used in the stage show of the famous London Punch and Judy performer Percy Press. During the Festival of Britain in 1951, he had a permanent theatre in the Battersea Pleasure Gardens. From the 1950s Percy also performed regularly outside Madame Tussauds.
