Mrs. Tuke
Mabel Tuke was joint Honorary Secretary of the Women's Social and Political Union. She joined the organisation in 1906. In March 1912 she and Emmeline Pankhurst threw a stone through the window of No.10 Downing Street. They were arrested, and Tuke was sentenced to three weeks in Holloway Gaol.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
