This 'Judy' hand puppet was used by Percy Press in his Punch and Judy show. Percy Press was known as the 'Amusing Amazer'. During the Festival of Britain in 1951 he had a permanent theatre in the Festival Pleasure Gardens at Battersea Park. He also performed regularly at Madame Tussauds in London.
