The Savage Club Ladies' Dinner
Menu for The Savage Club Ladies' Dinner on 7th May 1904. The sketch on the menu cover, signed Penrhyn Stanlaws, depicts a woman in a ball gown with a group of men dressed as 'savages' in the background. Inside, the menu is detailed in French and five toasts are listed. The toast to the King, for example, was to be proposed by the Chairman. There is also a list of the evening's 31 entertainers.
