Twelve good rules found in the study of K: Charles the First of blessed memory
Broadside printed with two columns of text, surmounted by a woodcut vignette depicting Charles I on the execution podium outside Whitehall Palace. The composition is framed by a heavy black border and decorated with calligraphic flourishes. It is printed from one block with the vignette of Charles I dropped in. At the bottom of text is the handwritten annotation 'Drink what you please/Trust,' possibly indicating this was a popular print hung in a tavern.
