Robert Hullcup issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business in the parish of St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2497; Obv inscription: ROBERT.HVLLCVP.IN (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A cat (in field); Rev inscription: GILES.IN.THE.FEILDS (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = R.M.H. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
