From a drawing by Hollar in the 1620s, this is an illustration ('plate 111') for an antiquarian work. It has a descriptive caption and shows the Banquetting Hall on the left, the Holbein Gate on the right, a 4-bay building linking the two and a wall on the right along what would now be the north side of Whitehall beyond which the land (the location now for Horse Guards) is evidently lower.
