Jug
Kingston-type ware small rounded anthropomorphic jug in the shape of a man pulling his beard with both hands. There is a brooch on the man's chest, between his arms. Jugs with faces were popular in the medieval period. Most of the potteries around London made them. This example was made in Kingston upon Thames.
