St. Barnabas, Kensington
St. Barnabas in Addison Road was designed by Lewis Vulliamy. It was built in 1826-29 for the people of West Kensington, who lacked a local church. St. Barnabas is one of the earliest churches built in the revived Tudor Gothic style.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
