Regent's Park Barracks
Regent's Park Barracks with a soldier standing to attention outside an entrance in the centre. A group of soldiers is visible at the top of some steps to the left. This barracks is often referred to as Albany Street Barracks as it is on Albany Street near Regent's Park. The Royal Horse Guards were based there from 1896 to 1969.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
