The Cat
William Harvey issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the sign of the Cat, in Salisbury Court.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2739; Obv inscription: WILL.HARVEY.AT.YE.CATT (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A cat (in field); Rev inscription: IN.SALSBVRY.COVRT (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = W.A.H. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
