John Webster issued this trade token, worth a farthing, for his business at the sign of the Almond Tree, in St Paul's Churchyard.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 2729; Obv inscription: IOHN.WEBSTER.AT.YE. ALMON (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A tree between 1663 (in field); Rev inscription: TREE.IN.PAVLS.CHVRCH.YARD (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A tree and I.M.W in cipher (in field).
